The Challenge

The challenge faced on the scheme was time – the HoF innovation team were in occupation of another office in Baker St and had to vacate by end of August. Sigma visited the site to scope the work at the beginning of July and had 3 weeks to mobilise including procuring all the glazed partitions, lighting and air conditioning units. Work commenced to strip out the unit within 2 weeks of scoping. The scope of works changed continually throughout the project to accommodate requests from the end user.

The Results

There was a lot of collaborative working with the client and their suppliers to ensure the team could move in and to ensure the programme was met. Sigma worked around the clock in the last week to get finishes complete and enable the flooring to be completed without hindering other trades
